DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS acc. to EU-GDPR

1 General Regulations

The UEEIV reserves the right to amend the existing data protection regulations in strict accordance with prevailing legal norms at any time.

1.1 Personal Data

Your voluntarily transmitted personal details (through submission in the online registration forms, by phone or email) will be collected, saved and processed in accordance with the most recent legislation on data protection (EU-GDPR 2018).

1.2 Links to other websites

Links provided by the UEEIV may contain links to other websites. The UEEIV is not responsible for the data you provide on other websites. Our partners are also bound to act according to EU-GDPR, the implementation however rests with each company or association individually. Our data protection guidelines are solely applicable to data controlled by us.

1.3 Events and Webinars

During events and webinars photos and/or videos may be taken and published for the purpose of documenting the event. During registration for each event, you will be asked for your consent.

Hereby we inform you on the type, purpose and scope of the processing activities of your personal data.

3 Data Subject Rights

We hereby inform you about your rights according to EU-GDPR:

3.2 Right to withdraw consent acc. to Art. 7 EU-GDPR

When you sign up for a certification, a training or an event, we will ask you for a declaration of consent. You will need to check a box in the end of the online form before being able to confirm and send your registration. The declarations of consent are not compulsory according to the EU GDPR. Each data subject has the right to withdraw his/her given consent(s) at any time. The withdrawal of the consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out based on the declaration of consent until the withdrawal.

3.3 Right to place a complaint with a supervisory authority acc. to Art. 77 EU-DSGVO

Every data subject has the right to place a complaint with a supervisory authority, if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him/her infringes to the EU-GDPR.

4 COLLECTION OF DATA/USE OF COOKIES

Collection of personal data when visiting our website

If the website is used for informational purposes only, the UEEIV only collects the personal data that your browser transmits to the server. We only collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security.

During your visit to our website, the following data is collected:

  • Request (file name of the requested file)
  • Browser type/version (e.g. Internet Explorer 8.0)
  • Browser language (e.g. German)
  • Operating system used and its interface (e.g. Windows Vista)

  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
  • IP address - will be deleted immediately

4.1 Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of the browser. They do no harm.
We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

4.2 Which cookies are set?

Order data processing

We have concluded an order data processing contract with Google.

Session cookies

The UEEIV uses session cookies, which are absolutely necessary for functionality purposes while using the website. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from the browser can be assigned to the session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to the UEEIV website. After the end of each session (leaving the website), the data collected about you during this period will be deleted.

Functional restrictions without cookies

If you generally do not allow the UEEIV to use cookies, certain functions and pages will not work as expected.

You can delete cookies that are already on your computer at any time. The procedure for doing this varies depending on the browser. Please refer to the browser instructions (under "Help" in the browser menu) for more information.

As a responsible association, the UEEIV does not use automatic decision-making or profiling.

Server-Log-Files

Our site collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: Browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request. This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently check this data if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

SSL encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
