4 March 2020, Manchester

The PWI is hosting its next technical seminar “Utilising New Technology on Railways” at the Manchester Conference Centre on Wednesday 4 March 2020.

The seminar will review the application of latest developments in railway technology across rail networks, providing real life examples of the benefits technology applications are delivering for today’s infrastructure.  Delegates will hear from technical leads, rail infrastructure owners, technology developers and research organisations as they share their insight and aspirations for new technology from design right through to implementation.

The UEEIV was between 30 May and 1 June 2017 presente at the iaf, the internatinal exhibition for track technology, held in Münster, Germany. Many international visitors came to our stand.

This exhibition is, every four year, the centre of the railway industry and its R&D. It is an meeting point for visitors from all continents. Many discussions and meetings with present and future members, and also the posibility for personel certification, were explained to a wider audience.


At the occasion of the seminar the UEEIV organised on the subject of System Engineering Professor Otfried Knoll received his certificate as EURAIL-Ing out of the hands of Wilfried Lorenz, leader of the certification initiative of the UEEIV.
