The UEEIV was between 30 May and 1 June 2017 presente at the iaf, the internatinal exhibition for track technology, held in Münster, Germany. Many international visitors came to our stand.

This exhibition is, every four year, the centre of the railway industry and its R&D. It is an meeting point for visitors from all continents. Many discussions and meetings with present and future members, and also the posibility for personel certification, were explained to a wider audience.

 

The Permanent Way Institution is pleased to announce its next technical seminar "High Speed Rail Lines: Technical Challenges".  This full day seminar is taking place in Birmingham on Thursday 19th October.

At the occasion of the seminar the UEEIV organised on the subject of System Engineering Professor Otfried Knoll received his certificate as EURAIL-Ing out of the hands of Wilfried Lorenz, leader of the certification initiative of the UEEIV. The UEEIV has elected Frans Heijnen as its new president

The Union of European Railway Engineer Associations (UEEIV) has re-elected its board during is tri-annual General Meeting, held on September 14 2014.
